JOSH MEDORS BENEFIT AUCTION
Unknown to the general public, Frank Frazetta's Swamp Demon, Runes of Ragnan, GI Joe & 30 Days of Night artist Josh Medors has been fighting cancer for the past several months. In his time of need, Frazetta Comics and the Emerald City ComiCon have stepped in organize an auction at 5:00pm on Saturday, May 10th at the 2008 ECCC show.
Below you'll find pictures of just some of the great art that has been donated. We apologize for the images, they are digital pictures of the art and any warping is due to the camera, not the art itself (almost all of which is on 11x17 art board). This is just some of the great art that will be auctioned at the show and we'll update as we get more! The pieces are first and the descriptions are in the table below.
For now, we are conducting a silent auction in advance of the live auction on all the pieces below. You may place bids on these items until midnight, Thursday, May 8th. At that point, silent bidding will be closed and your silent bid will be the starting bid at the live auction. If there is no one who bids at the live auction, then the piece is yours. Please e-mail any bids to medorsauction@emeraldcitycomicon.com - include the lot number, your bid, name, address, and phone number so we can contact you. Please note that the minimum bid is $20.00.
